What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) is a specialised therapy designed to address complex behavioural problems, which are commonly associated with a sense of living in a state of crisis and of never-ending emotional distress.
DBT consists of a comprehensive psychology programme that offers a mix of individual counselling and skills building groups, with additional out-of-session help-line support. It focuses on emotions, thoughts and behaviours in a practical way so your child can learn to manage crises and distress effectively. Our therapists are specifically trained in this approach and able to offer individually tailored support unique to the individual and their circumstances.
