Many people tend to suffer from anxiety, tension and anguish for too long before reaching out for help. It takes courage to enter into psychological therapy, and it takes courage to confront our difficulties.  

As a Counselling Psychologist, I offer evidence-based psychological therapy to clients with a wide range of mental health problems. There is no one-size-fits-all. I believe in creating a safe space for transformational conversations that will help you move forward through the challenges that you are facing. I hold an open mind when asking about what a person requires help with and strive to identify strengths alongside areas they are struggling in. I provide tailored evidence-based psychological interventions which draw on cognitive behavioural therapy, attachment theory and systemic practice to help you find your own ‘fit’. 

I have helped people experiencing the full range of emotional difficulties and life challenges including relationship difficulties, life stage transitions and family dynamics. By helping my clients stay hopeful, motivated and on-track, I encourage my clients to set SMART goals and embrace positive changes that they want to see in their lives.

Nomir has worked with people to address a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, post-traumatic stress, depression, relationship issues, existential crises, low self-esteem and grief. 

Nomir has an integrative approach to his work, tailoring psychological therapy to the person’s situation, aims and preferences. He is experienced and trained in several modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) , Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Nomir is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, UK (HCPC). He completed his qualifications in Counselling Psychology at City University, London.  

He has been practicing as a qualified psychologist for 15 years predominantly within the NHS, prior to joining CPG, working in primary care, community services and inpatient settings. He is experienced working with anxiety, post-traumatic stress, grief and depression, among other mental health difficulties, in a time-limited manner.
