Bella is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society and Practitioner Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She trained at the University of Oxford completing her research in the area of adjustment in adoptive parenthood. Bella has worked in a range of settings across mental health and social care, and within a variety of roles offering psychological intervention, treatment, consultation and training. She has experience of working with individuals across the lifespan and their families. Bella draws on a range of evidence-based psychological approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systemic and Developmental theories. She is also fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Narrative Exposure Therapy.

Bella is a warm and compassionate therapist who offers a safe space for clients to explore the issues that have brought them to therapy. She is skilled in the treatment of stress within the work place, relationships difficulties, existential crises, traumatic experiences, and the full range of mental health problems including anxiety and depression. Bella takes a strengths-based approach and incorporates mindfulness throughout her practice to empower clients to bring about the desired changes in their psychological well-being.

Alongside her work with CPG, Bella works within adult personality disorder services within Camden and Islington Foundation NHS Trust. Bella has also worked abroad, spending two years working in New Zealand including within indigenous mental health. She has a keen interest in the cultural and social contexts and histories that individuals live within, how this shapes resulting roles, relationships and values, and supports individuals towards their desired living.
