Angelica is a passionate psychologist who conveys a genuine desire to help her clients. She therefore approaches therapy with an honest and non-judgemental approach as she forms a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. She draws upon her clinical experience to embark on a therapeutic journey with clients, helping them to understand the problems they face and nurture their self-awareness, resources and strengths to make helpful and sustainable changes as they reconnect with what is important in their life.

Angelica has experience of working with people across the lifespan who experience a range of mild to severe difficulties including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, sleep difficulties, anger management, perfectionism, stress, burnout, substance misuse, chronic pain, bereavement, autism, trauma, psychosis (hearing voices and delusions), personality disorders and bipolar disorder. Angelica has extensive experience working with clients who have caring responsibilities for people with various problems such as dementia, brain injury, psychosis and physical illnesses. She also works with families and supports them to adjust and cope with impact that physical and mental health problems, and significant life events may have on family functioning and their relationships.

Angelica draws upon a range of psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. She is also trained to provide Behavioural Family Therapy and Family Interventions in Psychosis and draws upon systemic and attachment theories to inform her work.

Alongside her work at CPG, Angelica is employed by the North East London NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and is specialised in working in community mental health teams with people with a first episode psychosis and schizophrenia. In addition to carrying out assessments and individual and family therapy, she provides support and consultation for mental health teams, and delivers supervision to trainee clinical psychologists and qualified psychologists.
