“Through my experience of being a psychologist, I have learned that under the right conditions people develop and grow towards their ideal self. In my sessions, I aim to establish these conditions and use the appropriate evidence-based skills to help my clients achieve their personal goals, in a safe and non-judgemental space”.

I am an integrative practitioner and I have experience working with a variety of presenting difficulties, ranging from anxiety, depression, and psychological trauma, to psychosis, substance misuse, and eating disorders. I have been fortunate to have worked in various different settings and have developed psychological services in mental health rehabilitation hospitals, focusing on a holistic approach to self-development. I tend to view the world through an existential lens and I believe that finding meaning in our lives is paramount.

Sofia is trained in a number of psychological therapies, some of which include EMDR, CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy (SC), and Humanistic / Person-Centred Therapy (PCT).
