"Therapy can be seen as an alchemical journey, a transformative process that creates space for self-awareness, (re)discovery and reconnection to oneself and to others and offers the pathway towards a more authentic and meaningful life"

I am a Counselling Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience in providing interventions for a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma and complex trauma, work-related stress, loss, bereavement, relational difficulties, meaning of life, and career support.

My approach is integrative, a multi-model approach, combining various schools of thought and evidence-based therapy practice. I believe that every person’s needs can be met, and effectively addressed, within a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Oana is trained in a number of evidence-based psychological therapies, including Humanistic Therapies, Systemic Therapy, Experiential Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has provided psychological treatment to people struggling anxiety, depression, chronic diseases, bereavement, relational difficulties, separation and divorce, family problems, abuse, loss, affairs and betrayals, adaptative problems, anger management, parenting, career support, and searching for purpose and meaning in life.

She has a specialised interest and expertise in working with trauma and complex trauma and is currently undergoing training in Somatic Experiencing Therapy, an approach that focuses on the body and its role in the experiencing and healing of trauma.

Oana has more than 10 years’ experience in working with adults, teens and children. She has vast experience in providing both brief and longer-term treatment plans, which are always tailored in collaboration with each client in order to best meet their needs.
