“True transformation begins when a person feels seen, heard, and deeply understood. For me, the heart of psychological work lies in creating a space where clients feel safe to be vulnerable, to heal, and to grow. It is a privilege to walk beside individuals as they move from emotional pain to resilience, clarity, and connection”

I am a UK-trained and HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience supporting individuals and couples in navigating emotional difficulties and building fulfilling relationships. I specialise in evidence-based therapy and coaching to support clients struggling with anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, relationship challenges, burnout, and cross-cultural identity issues. I am also an experienced Relationship Coach and Growth Mindset Expert.
My approach is rooted in simplicity, clarity, and compassion. I believe therapy doesn’t have to be overwhelming to be effective. I focus on what truly works, helping clients cut through emotional confusion, reconnect with their values, and make practical changes that bring results. I work in a way that feels natural and human, without jargon or unnecessary complexity.
Saifur brings an integrative, warm, and collaborative approach to therapy. He is particularly passionate about working with high-functioning individuals who feel emotionally stuck, those recovering from emotionally draining or toxic relationships, and people seeking meaningful change in their personal or professional lives. He also provides culturally sensitive support to clients from South Asian and immigrant backgrounds.
Dr Saifur Rahman brings a wealth of clinical experience gained through his work in the UK across the NHS, private practice, and voluntary sectors. Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, providing psychological support that is both evidence-based and deeply attuned to each client’s lived reality.
In the NHS, Saifur held positions in primary care and in-patient settings where he provided psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with mild to complex mental health difficulties. He worked in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating closely with psychiatrists, nurses, GPs, and social workers to deliver holistic care. Saifur is well-versed in the stepped-care model and has experience offering both short-term focused interventions and longer-term therapy for more enduring difficulties.
In private practice, Saifur has supported high-functioning professionals, couples, and individuals seeking personal development and recovery from toxic or emotionally draining relationships. His integrative approach grounded in psychological science but delivered with simplicity and compassion has made his work highly effective with clients looking for meaningful and lasting change.
With a strong background in culturally sensitive therapy, Saifur is adept at working with individuals from ethnic minority communities, including those from South Asian and Muslim backgrounds. He creates an inclusive space where clients can explore mental health challenges without stigma or cultural disconnection.
