About Me
Research & Publications

My approach is based on providing a safe, non-judgemental environment for my clients and helping them to develop resilience and psychological flexibility, always keeping in mind the existing skills and social support resources of the individual.

As someone with first-hand experience, I have a particular interest in working with clients with physical or medical conditions, neurodiversity and learning differences alongside their families, whilst focusing on helping them to live their lives to their full potential. I am totally committed to supporting the values that promote diversity in all its dimensions.

In her therapy sessions, Paloma uses an integrative approach based on her years of experience with Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Affirmative Psychology, Mindfulness and relaxation techniques.

Since 2006, she has been working with adults and adolescents suffering from anxiety, depression, work-related stress, relationship issues, fertility and perinatal difficulties, bereavement, eating disorders, and minority stress (migratory, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+). Her previous experience in Human Resources Management has provided her with a deep understanding of the effect that employment may have on a person, from the search for a first job, promotions, transfers, career changes and all the difficulties than can arise within the working environment.

Paloma has worked in private practice with clients from different cultures in English and Spanish for over 15 years. Following graduating in Psychology, she acquired extensive experience in HR Management whilst working in private corporations. She has a postgraduate qualification in Clinical and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for adults, children and families, and has trained with the Tavistock Clinic in Adolescence, Eating Disorders and Couples therapy. This has enabled her to provide tailored psychological interventions in a time-limited manner.
