How long does therapy take?

We believe that effective therapy depends on the quality of sessions, not the quantity of them. We understand that people may not want to be in therapy for extended periods and so we specialise in therapy that is brief but powerful.

We are focussed on catalysing change from the very first session.

We will give you the skills and understanding that you need to make progress outside the therapy room, as well as within it.

We have a flexible approach that tailors therapy to your needs and your schedule, so that you get the results you want in a timeframe that suits you. 

We are experts in brief therapy (six to twenty sessions), although we are also skilled in longer-term work and offer it where appropriate.

We will not ask you to stick to a regular timeslot, but rather can work around your other commitments - you can come weekly, fortnightly, or whenever you are able, and can rearrange sessions with 24 hours’ notice.
