Many of our clients routinely make use of our equally effective online therapy sessions, so in light of the current situation our team are working very hard to ensure all clients can benefit from continued therapy online. We therefore ask for you to please bear with us during this busy period in order to enable us to continue providing you with the high quality care that we pride ourselves in. You can do this by providing us with as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend a session as demand is currently high.

Phobias Including Fear of Flying

A phobia is a reaction of intense anxiety to a particular thing or situation. Common phobias include fear of flying, enclosed spaces, or needles. A phobia can interfere with your life by making you feel that you need to avoid any situation that could trigger it. You might avoid going on holiday, using the underground, or having medical treatment that you need.

Psychological therapy is very effective at treating phobias. By gradually exposing yourself to the thing that you fear, you will find that your fear of it diminishes, leaving you unafraid and able to enjoy your life fully.
