Many of our clients routinely make use of our equally effective online therapy sessions, so in light of the current situation our team are working very hard to ensure all clients can benefit from continued therapy online. We therefore ask for you to please bear with us during this busy period in order to enable us to continue providing you with the high quality care that we pride ourselves in. You can do this by providing us with as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend a session as demand is currently high.

Sleep Problems/Insomnia

Sleep is important, but too many of us get too little of it. Difficulty sleeping can be very frustrating, and can leave you feeling tired, irritable, and unable to perform at your best. And the harder we try to sleep, the more elusive it becomes.

Sleep problems can be due to other issues, such as stress and anxiety, or a lifestyle that interferes with a regular sleep pattern, but they can also arise for no obvious reason - once we get stuck in a pattern of sleeping erratically, it can become habitual and hard to shift.

Psychological therapy can relieve insomnia by identifying and addressing any underlying causes, teaching you the habits that make for good sleep, helping you to let go of counterproductive efforts to force yourself to sleep, and rebuilding a consistent pattern of adequate sleep.
